We shape musical artists in a non-judgemental, fun, and stimulating environment. Community is an important aspect of our mission here at Mamma’s you’ll meet like-minded individuals who share your passion for knowledge, music, and continued self-expression.

Jasmine Gonzalez

Jasmine teaches professional singing lessons out of Colorado and internationally via Zoom or Skype. She has dedicated the last 15 years of her life to vocal technique and performance. Teaching the IVA method, she believes, is the most effective way to find your most authentic, badass singing voice! The Institute for Vocal Advancement is an international teaching organization dedicated to the education and integrity of voice teachers around the globe. This method focuses on accessing every area of the voice without cracking, breaking, or straining,

“I have a passion for helping others learn how to best use their voice and become the singer they’ve always wanted to be!”

Having a Bachelor’s degree in music with a focus in voice, she is no stranger to performance herself. Jasmine has an array of professional performance experience with roles including Dido in the Opera Dido and Aeneas, Janet in The Rocky Horror Show, and Darby in the CW TV show Roswell New Mexico, to name a few. Because of her well-rounded performance experience, she not only helps her students reach their singing goals, but she also helps them find their truest expression for the stage.

Lisa Gonzalez

Lisa is an accomplished horn player with her Bachelor’s in music education and a Master’s degree in horn performance. She has had many years of experience teaching music in public schools. And has been a band and orchestra director for 20 years. Lisa teaches most band and orchestra instruments. During her tenure in Colorado and California public schools, many of her students have been accepted into various honor bands and orchestras, local through state level.  Her students have gone on to study music at the college level, including the prestigious Julliard School of Music in NYC. 

Lisa is known for her kind, patient teaching style and strong music background. Because she is certified by the state of Colorado as a Music Teacher, you know that you will be getting top-notch instructions from a seasoned professional in the music field.

With a master’s degree in horn performance, Lisa has had a lot of performance experience herself. She’s played horn in many Musical Theater and Operatic Productions, including Evita, Westside Story, and Le Nozze Di Figaro. She also has had a lot of symphony experience, including the Pueblo Symphony Orchestra, La Jolla Symphony, and Chorus, as well as playing horn in the original theme song recording for Everquest, the video game, just to name a few.
